The shrimp and grits was nommed happily by everyone . Our server was nice enough to have them make this dish with out bacon for me. I'm sure in some meat circles the no bacon call is absurd. But if the dish can hold up without something as salvating as bacon then you know its tasty.

Dear Hush puppies,
I'm not mad at you.

We managed to get the last order in the house. This is an item they sell out of a lot because I'm pretty sure every table orders one of them.
The Baja salad was pretty good.
It was filled with greens, avocado, yellow tomato, and red tomato. It wasn't over the top and went well with our heavy food choices.

This is were I fell in love.

Meet the 2 in one pie. It was as if your two favorite pies decided to have a really attractive pie child. It had a amazing thick crust, a layer of chocolate cream, a layer of banana cream, a layer of not too sweet whip cream and coconut.
This is how you get it done.

It never had a chance.
Everything at Peels is great except what was discussed later that evening. The alcohol prices are not comparable to the food prices. A well drink there is 10 dollars. I believe its because they don't actually carry well liquor. When ordering a dirty martini I was given the choice of Belvedere or Stoli. Most cocktails range from 12 to 15 monies . They don't have any cheap glasses of wine and I was told a little story of how recently a waitress tried to up sale someone from an already overpriced 15 dollar a finger pour of after dinner whiskey to a 40 dollar whiskey. Shadyyyyyyy. Over all I'll be back. I had a great meal and I dig the family style tables.
